Biography
I am the youngest of three sons and was born in upstate New York. My mother, an immigrant who escaped from Germany
in the mid nineteen thirties, became a registered nurse, and my father, a Mainer and a noted architect, moved the young family to
a suburban town outside of Boston Massachusetts. Both have passed away. After high school, I was taking night classes required to
get into Boston Universities School of Communications and found out that my draft number was “likely” to come up soon. So, including
a year in Vietnam, I spent ten years in the Air Force before going to work for a number of commercial airlines in the Materials Management
field. Later As the airline business waned I took my experience and became a senior technical writer. I currently work in the
Industrial Security area, have been married for over thirty five years, and have one married daughter.Writing seems to have
been part of my life from an early age. I would make up stories or write songs, mostly during the time I should have been studying
harder. I have actively written since the early seventies and have been writer and editor of numerous organizational publications,
newsletters, and technical manuals. Destiny and Decision is my first full length novel written for publication and
the first in the Wands Of Merlin series.I enjoy a wide variety of leisure activities including riding my motorcycle. You will see
pictures in the Gallery and on my blog of rides my friends and I have taken on some of our rides, and you’ll find the motorcycle
community represented in an upcoming series. I also have fun taking pictures, which you will see on this site.
